Hope…
Hope about boys is like a bottle of glass slammed into tiny pieces for my bicycles tires to roll over and puncture.

Imagine $185 on top of a car instead of a shopping bag.
I got to sunnyvale and couldn’t find my ride on Sunday. I went home, searched for shoes, alas, they could not be found. I ran to sports basement and repurchased my shoes.
I joined the route and ended up doing 40/65 miles—not too bad!

when you roll into the office at 10:30am and your corporate office’s parking lot is near-empty.
TGIF.
There are so many things wrong with this list (see inline)
You have one of the following.
-Cell phone
If you are on the streets and your only form of communication is via cell phone, you are still poor. There are many accessible prepaid options.
-House
Just because at one point you had wealth to buy a house does not mean you can afford to live your lifestyle any longer. Case in point, the mortgage crisis.
-Car
A car with little monetary value does not substantiate wealth.
-iPad
This is not a necessity, but it is in no way a sign of wealth.
-Closet with clothes
Owning clothes does not substantiate wealth. A closet helps, but what kind of conditions that closet exists in is a whole different situation.
-A job
If you have a job that pays $7.25/hr, you’re poor.
7.25*40*52= $15,080/yr
While this is under the poverty line, it in relativity to the upper class, it is poverty.
-Food ( YES EVEN RAMEN NOODLES)
Ramen noodles does not provide the nutrition needed.
-Bed
Having a place to sleep is great, but if that bed is not guaranteed to be there night-to-night (homeless shelter, risk of being kicked out of house/apartment), there is long term detriment to a person’s well-being.
-Parents that you can live with
Having an option of people to live with may show a sign of emotional wealth, but it is no means a sign of financial viability.
-Family that you can live with
See above.
and
- A computer
This is not a necessity, but it is in no way a sign of wealth.

That is the old story.

I’m so tired. I should not be working today.
I’m pretty sure I have a few gray hairs. Happy-almost 23rd?
Dear Flu Shot, you fail.
